My name is Aleksandr Gaisov and this is the webpage which accumulates most of my worth sharing projects from different areas of interest. These projects are mainly done for myself and mainly out of inquisitiveness.

I am currently into tinkering with free and open source computer software, as well as learning about GNU/Linux operating systems. Hence, expect site’s content to be of such nature.

• Colored Tiles Game - a puzzle game written in Java
• Panel Scripts - simple bash scipts for task panel
• Wrapper for When - is a bash wrapper script for when calendar program
• Bot Evolution Simulator - a 2D evolution simulator
• Numbers Recognition - a neural network that identifies handwritten numbers
• Butterflies Classification - a neural network (writtern with PyTorch) that classifies 75 species of butterflies
• Similar films - a simple film recommendation system based on cosine similarity matrix

Game development

• Subaqueous Chaos - A one-man submarine navigates the underwater maze, resurfasing at various locations from Lovecraft’s stories.
